Halloween in the ‘hood
Do you enjoy handing out Halloween candy, but don’t have enough traffic on your street to make it worthwhile? Consider joining your neighbors in College Heights church’s parking lot on the corner of South Drive and Charles Street for Trunk or Treat. It’s on Monday, October 31, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Trunk or Treat is a great event that gives children and families throughout the city a safe place to enjoy Halloween. 400 – 500 children trick-or-treat from car to car.
It’s low maintenance: you only have to pull up your car and a chair or two, and hand out your candy. You can dress up (or not), and decorate your car (or not). (But it’s more fun if you do!) And since I know you’re wondering… no one will hassle you about going to church (or not).
NO NEED FOR A RESERVATION! If you’d like to participate, just arrive in the large parking lot on South Drive before 6 to grab a space before the trick or treaters turn up.
